Truck vs. Car

I know it happens to just about all of us, but did not expect it to happen to me. I was at a stop light minding my own buisness when i was struck on the drivers side by a '00 Bonneville after she hit a '87 Seville. The Seville was making lefthand turn and didn't see the Bonneville. Crash!! The Bonneville bounced off the Seville and t-boned my drivers side. I am alright but a little sad that my baby got crashed. She bent my nerf bar under my truck, smashed in my door, and messed up my front wheel & alingment.

The kicker of the whole story is the lady driving the Seville does'nt have insurance. My insurance is paying for all the damages ( $4000 ) to my truck.

Just a little heads up that you can always be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The main thing is that you're OK! Aren't you glad you've got insurance to cover the repairs?

I love how people w/o insurance can seem to manage to get away without having it... ain't it grand?

Back in the day I got popped by a gal who was driving her aunt's car. The insurance card was out of date so they wrote her a ticket for no insurance. Only when I go to file a claim do I find out she's on the aunt's policy.... as the only EXCLUDED driver on the policy. No collision coverage, but my uninsured insurance picked up the back cracker bills. I could have sued, but what am I ever gonna get out of a crackhead living in the projects... more grief than I could afford to pay my attorneys, for sure.

Bummer about the truck, keep in mind sheet metal is easier to replace than blood and guts. Glad your OK.
