Estimate for break job
I have hit 73,000 miles and time to get the breaks done. I do not want to attempt myself as this is too important a safety feature for me to mess up on. Can you guys give me an idea of price to expect for the rotors to be turned, repack wheel bearings and new pads. I am guessing the rear brakes are OK as all the weight is up front. Live in San Diego, so any suggestions on good mechanic welcomed.

I have a suggestion...do not go to Pep Boys. I live in San Diego as well...do not ever have work done to your vehicle at Pep Boys. I took my truck in to have my brakes done and they tried to tell me that I needed a new master cylinder, and i had to replace my entire braking system which would cost $2000. When I took my truck to Drew Ford as soon as I left Pep Boys they said there wasn't anything wrong with the truck and it was just fine, i just needed to replace my brake pads.
