Head Compatability
I don't have a truck but I do have a Ford product. It is a 92 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 'w' VIN number. This is a 4.6L SOHC.
I was hoping I could get some info from you guys on other years that are compatible for swapping the heads.
If I can't find the heads maybe you guys might know what year engines would be a direct bolt in without modification.
I know you guys are experts so if you could share some of the knowledge you have on these engines I would appreciate it greatly.

99-up heads are the best. They have a PI stamped in them. I believe that the 98-back have 11 bolts in the V/C's and the 99-up (PI heads) have 13/14 bolts in them. That's what the BBK valvecover listing shows.
