03 cobra blower

just want to get some feedback on what you guys think about the 03 cobra motor with the blower. do you the blower and intake will fit any 4.6 or does it have to be a 4.6 with 4v heads? the reason is i want a blower for my 01 f150 4.6 but unsure of what to go with. so let the info on 03 cobra motor fly. i just want to learn more about the motor.

You have to have the 4V heads. The intake mounts up different than the 2V heads.
There are many aftermarket superchargers that are set up about the same but are made for the truck. KenneBell, Holley and others have direct bolt on units for your truck.

the cobra blower is for the 4v's.

You can't go too far with boost on a stock 2v 4.6, as the internals are not blower friendly, and bad things can happen if you get greedy with the boost.

Check out what flimsy rods ford puts in these 4.6's and you will see what i mean.

They do not show one at this time. One may be in the works though. Go to their website and use the "contact us" link. They usually respond within 2 working days. Nice people.
