On the CrewCab ? when locked or should i say in locked mode the occupant cannot exit out,correct. however on my S.D.C.C WHEN IN THE unlocked mode should'ent the occupant be able to squeeze the handle to gain egress, read the manual just seems something is left out, possible warrenty work comeing up, Tranny running smooth

So bobbyboy, what are you asking?
When in unlock mode, are you saying that your passenger cannot open the door from the inside? He should be able to in the 'unlock' mode.
Make sure the actual "mode" switch is moving through it's full range of motion.

Hey Monsta, how ya doing?....Yes passenger is inside, in the back child-proof lock in in the unlocked mode, passenger has to pull up on the tab to exit , i thought you could just squeeze the handle and that would open the door......i know this sounds bad but thought i would just ask..........thanks

Is it correct that the rear passenger would have to pull up on the tab first to open the door.
The fronts will do it with the door lever.
The child-proof lock completed disengages the door lever from the locking mechanism.
