1988 Stock Tachometer
I curently have the instrument cluster without the tach.
I am buying a 1988 F-150 for parts that has the tach in the cluster.
My question is,
Will the 1988 cluster with the tach replace my 1988 cluster with-out the tach?
Do I have to swap the harnesses? Or are the harnesses the same with the leads already installed to hook the tach up?
Does those question make sense?

So the wiring harness plugs are there correct? Are they labeled so I know which is which?
Now I got to talk the man down a few hundred for this truck & I'll be good to go. He is wanting $700.00 for the truck complete with a bad front fuel pump & a leaking rear tank. (in other words the truck aint running)
I can use the bed, cab, drivers door, drivers fender, front fuel tank, & all the interior peices.
If I buy the truck, all the other good parts will be on eBay.

it only sucks when you buy a cluster in the junkyard, which looks exactly like your cluster plus the tach, only to realize your 93 F-series has a digital odometer, hence no speedo cable.
Its amazing how one can look at something every day for 10 years and not remember while wandering the yard LOL
