I just got back from the first ride with the programer. I was smiling all the way down the road. This truck was awesome before but now it's just insane. The tranny needs to be driven for a while in the 100 horse settings the shifts where a little harsh.
did you do any other performance mods to coicide with the prgrammer, and i heard something about the latest flash needed for it to work properly, can you give me some insite?

I have the 12-12-03 flash ion my Ex and the predator sems to wor thus far...
still haven't driven it enough to teach the trany yet, but MAN p it scoots thru first and second to 50 n about 3 secs...
Drove about 50 miles round trip this morning to the NorthTexasPowerStorke.com meeting and on the 65 hp program, the overhead stayed above 20 mpg the whole way - even though there were some bumps on the speed limiter...
Once there it took about 2 minutes while I was not paying attention and talking to get the 100 hp settting installed...
It's not change on the fly, but doesn't take much at all...
I just put the 100 hp program and removed the speed limiter... will see how it does over the next few days with shofing and all...
Also, have to research what the speed rating on my tires are before I exceed it

Ya it takes about 2 minutes to switch from each setting to another. I was getting 18 yesterday pulling my 2 spot.I keep mine on the 65 hp setting. I contacted the manufacture and they cgave me the torque #'s
45hp-100trq
65hp-150trq
100hp-210trq
Just received my predator yesterday and installed the 65 hp setting. Drove all day grinning ear to ear! I'm running an airaid intake, banks monster exhaust, and autometer gauges. With a 6 inch lift and 35 in tires, I am breaking the tires loose with half throttle--incredible. I'm almost scared to run the 100 hp program. One observation though, from a dead stop with these 6.0s there seems to be little power until the rpms are up a bit. Is this the turbo lagg people have mentioned??
aperalta: Yes, the RPM's need to get up there before the turbo spools up
-------
Now with the Predator does it hit the rev limiter with the 100hp setting? and what do you mean, King Ranch, when you say "The tranny needs to be driven for a while in the 100 horse settings the shifts where a little harsh"

In the 100hp setting the rpm's come up so fast I was burning the tires at every stop light without even trying. The torqueshift is a self learning transmision so they say it takes a few start-ups before it relearns the new power.
