what are your exhaust temps running with the banks? I was wondering bk there is some speculation that the cat back does not lower temps as well as the turbo back. It sounds like i want the banks but i was wondering about the temps??

It's not change on the fly, but doesn't take much at all...
I just put the 100 hp program and removed the speed limiter... will see how it does over the next few days with shofing and all...

Also, have to research what the speed rating on my tires are before I exceed it
Can you just remove the speed limiter and NOT unstall any of the HP programs

Haven't tried that, but I don't see why not ...
it has a modiy tune option so I guess you could reintsall stock program and deinstll the spped limiter...
but, sorry, just making a leap of logic there so maybe diablosport.com can tell u for sure.

When any of you have driven far enough to tell....can someone tell us what does the fuel economy look like.... Better, worse, indifferent? Probably with all of the grins you all are talking about, my guess is worse.

Has anyone found out if for a fact that when you return it the the stock programming, that the Ford Techs cannot tell that it has been tampered with?

On a side note, I asked Banks about the increased sound out of the Monster Exhaust and their response made perfect sense. I also asked them a few other questions. Here is what they said...

"Thank you for contacting Gale Banks Engineering. We currently have a cat-back exhaust available for your truck. This particular system has picked up 18WHP & 25WTQ. We have not done any mileage testing for this exhaust. We usually wait for one of our "systems" before we test mileage. You should see a slight gain in mileage and noticeable gain in throttle response and bottom end power. This exhaust has only raised 4-5 decibels from stock. Basically the motor is always gonna be louder than the exhaust tone. "

I also asked them about upcoming products...Their response...

"We have many new products under development right now. We will release full details in about a month. Rest assured the product will be very exciting. "

HAD to run it in the 100 HP mode for the first part of the week adn TOO fun...
put in the 65 HP setting and even though the throttle response is "twice" as rapid as it was I am still getting good fuelage !
will fill up tomorrow and have a real number....

Here are my observations: running the 65 hp program, I run between 600-800 at cruising speed on the highway (not towing); when I put my foot into it she will jump to around 1100. Being the law abiding citizen that I am, I do not keep my foot in it long Thus far, I have not programmed the 100 hp nor have a towed yet

Well, if this new chip you guys are talking about is anything like my 130HP chip, it should bring a BIG smile to your face
Just yesterday a little ricer with a kid about my age in it (18) pulls up to me at a light and starts revving his engine. Being the dumb teen that I still am I figure "What the hell, lets turn this mother all the way up, and show him what we're made of" the light turned green, and he was just a dot in my mirrors
I still don't think he knew what hit him
I think its the loud whistle in the exhaust that scares all the ricers away

my gas temps at the 65hp setting never got above 1000F when towing my 4 spot thru the notch at 70 mph. So it's really safe at normal driving conditions. I got 15.2 going up and 16.8 coming back(down hill) towing the trailer. Air temp was -5F. Good enough for me

King Ranch...was that an increase, decrease, or no change in fuel economy?

I have never seen those numbers with my stock programming, even when empty on the highway. My very best was 13.9.

It might be an increase but not a whole lot. That has been my average towing so far.Empty I get about 18 on a long highway drive.
