[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jul-02 AT 08:18 PM (EST)]Does your state have a clunker law?
I guess mine doesn't. Just today, I saw a rolled over Ford Ranger (early 90's) whizzing at 80+MPH in the left lane. The bed was twisted, tailgate chained from the handle to one of the bed mounting bolts. The passenger A pillar was bent, windshiled cracked. The front is mostly gone except for headlights.
He said it still rides smooth, just like new. It was rolled over 120,000 miles ago.
As for me, I've got a beater, and I mean a beater. An 84 Olds Delta 88. Muffler is dragging on pavement, headliner sagging, rust everywhere, etc. Same oil for 2 years.
