Hi, I have a 1995 Ford F-150 4WD. I want to upgrade the radio in it. Does anyone out there know if any of the newer Ford products will fit into my truck? . Is there a Ford spec sheet that gives the model interchanges available? Thanks for any info.
No sorry, only radios available from oem were am, am/fm, cassette, and a cd with premium sound. Premium sound requires different wiring and an amp to work( not plug and play)
I did however, build an enclosure for floor board and install a new style dual media radio from an explorer and it works great. There are harnesses you can buy without having to cut and splice anything.
As far as the old radio, just find a blank plate from a xl model in a junk yard or for fun, find a "tray" out of the 94-98 modle tbird and install in opening.,
