block damage

block damage

what can it to to the block if driven a little and not hard with some slung main or rod bearings. i don't wanna get a new block. it is parked now. i already am going to get another crank

It can either destroy the block, hurt it a little, or do no damage. The only way to know is look at it. Hope it is OK.

i gues one bearing went out or something it was knocking slightly when you push the clutch in and at startup and 1st. then all of a sudden it let go and slung a few more i am guessing. so i turned around and drove it less than 5 miles back home. when it first started i would short shift it so that it would minimize the sound and hopefully not cause too much damage. it was driven about 240 miles at that time. now it sits.
