gun footage from the desert

Been there it sucks!
Wabiker, I'm with you!! The last sequence in the Helo clip showed a severely wounded unarmed enemy who was no longer operational. I heard the weapons control officer order the kill on that soldier, I'm not sure how that gunner is going to remember that night action but my guess is not with glory filled warmth. I realize that it may be easier for some who have never been in a shooting war to believe that was way cool, and way to go Guys!!!
To be honest with you, I felt like the Helo could just as well have been shooting at a liferaft or parachutes.
Maybe I'm just an old wussy... or maybe old warriors grow their souls late. I hope that none of you cheerleaders ever have to be on either end of a gunsight.

Prairie dogs are destructive little critters to landowners. They harbor some nasty diseases and eat their own while making holes in the ground. While filling a niche in the environment they are a blast to shoot. The guys who are really good often shoot over 300 yards. Most people who live around "dogs" will tell you the only good dog is a dead one - no matter how it died.
On the open range, people used to use nitrogen fertilizer to kill them. That is now illegal. Blowing them all to hell is a much faster way to die then breathing ammonia.

Thats the coolest thing ever, its late right now, but I will get on it tomorrow.
I just didn't want to get into why I mercilessly kill the little F'rs, they destroy property values, and they are disease carrying little rodents. THey are moving in here, in the city and expanding. I'd love to shoot them, but htere are too many greenies in the way.

The Apache footage was pretty good, but did anyone see the gun footage of an AC-130 over in Afghanistan. They were using the 105 Howitzer as and anti-personell round! It was awesome considering what their kind did over here. I also liked the footage of a laser guided 5000lb bomb caving in half a mountain, is there a clearer way of sending our message? The only way to respond to terrorists is to kill them in as terrifying way as we possibly can.

Having looked back through a second time, I have to say the DOG shootings sicken me, they actually cause me physical pain because i did not choose my webname lightly.
I AM A DOG HANDLER
And that stuff makes me positively SICK inside.
Who the hell can find any joy in that, I don't know.
It disgusts me, for one.
