Not O2 or IAC!?

Not O2 or IAC!?
OK Over the last couple of weeks my Engine light comes on in my 2000 Explorer SOHC. I went to Auto Zone and they gave me a code of PO174 and PO171 they say both sides are running lean. They said O2 Sensors. So I replaced them. It ran better and they were all carboned up. Then I started having problems starting it in the cold weather. I wrote in and you guys said it could be the IAC so I put one of those in. This morning at -22 degrees it did the same thing start and then stop until it gets warm. The light came on again today? When back to Auto Zone and they came up with the same codes as before??? So what do you think it could be NOW? Thanks for the HELP!!

Having the same trouble with my 2000. Changed the MAF, IAC upper intake gaskets and just got the lower ones today and intend on changing them. Most posts I've seen have said that changing the lower intake gaskets have fixed their problem.

wow. everybody seems to have this same problem. after replacing my IAC, which didn't even affect the problem, I went in and had the dealer redo the upper and lower intake gaskets. idles like a champ now regardless of the temp. BTW, hurry up, if I'm not mistaken this is part of recall M0012 and they will do it free of charge if you're under 6yr/72k. (I wasn't so lucky, 94k on my 98 XLT)
