In front of the F-350's drivers side battery there a some wires disconnected and bundled with a relay. White, yellow and red.
The yellow has a 30A inline fuse and the white has a 5A.
Any ideas?
Also mounted on the lower right of the dash is some sort of controller. It states Commander XP and has LEDs. Next to it there a rocker switch labeled KC. Is this an electric brake controller?
If the box lights up when you push on the brake, or your brake lights light up when you manually push the button on the box, then it is definitely a brake controller. If the box is dead, see if the wires going to it match the wires you found in the engine compartment.
I just did a yahoo search on "commander xp brake control" and the brand "Tekonsha" came up as a control for trailer brakes.
