When I re-wired my 51 F-1 several years ago, there were not complete harnesses that I could find. Dennis Carpenter Ford parts got me close, then I bought wire from YnZ in California to finish it out.
Thanks all. Lots of options. I think I will go with a 21 circuit model. I have to figure out what the previous owner did to the wiring. It looks like he went to Radio Shack and just ran wires everywhere. This is where the manuel comes in handy.
Thanks again.
Recently finished rewiring a 58 Ch___ that a friend owns - used an EZ Wire harness. I'm not impressed with the diagrams or instructions that came with it - makes for a little head scratching - on the other hand we figured it out and neither of us are rocket scientists (guess that went without saying) and it is a good quality piece for a couple hundred bucks LESS than what many of the other harnesses go for. I'd not hesitate to use one in my truck if I wasn't concerned with originality issues.
If money is no object I'd look at some of the vendors that offer a harness made specifically for your truck - saves some time.
