I am proud to moderate here on the 6.0 FTE forum. I will give you a hint about how I moderate;
I follow the Guidelines, very simple.
Ken and all, have provided an arena to learn and discuss the 6.0 Ford Diesel. I do not wish to change the mission statement; nonetheless, my desire is to push the 6.0 forums to an even higher status. Most who visit here will quickly realize that I have a passion for the 6.0. Therefore, I am very active, as a moderator and a user within FTE.
This vision…to take the 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel forum to the largest information based…. consumer driven…6.0 medium anywhere…. this cannot be accomplished without you the Ford Truck Enthusiast!
Enjoy

We need to clone Andy and put one at each dealership across this fine country.
Problems will all be solved
I sure wish we had an Andy at my frindly local Ford Dealer! I think they are still trying to figure out what makes a 1971 pinto tick!

Are you still happy with the truck.......

I wish I would have learned about this forum before I purchased my 03 6.0 with a 03/03 build date. I would have waited until late 2004 too even consider the purchase. Biggest mistake I have ever made on a purchase.

Yesterday is a memory. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today I get to drive my 6.0L PSD Lariat Shortbed Supercab again. Hot damn! Gotta love that truck. Lucky guy me.
I wish I would have learned about this forum before I purchased my 03 6.0...............
It was because of this forum, I was able to report back to my Rancher friend, and convinced him to wait until after July of '04 to purchase his additional Ford truck. We both are very happy over that decision ----- and the input for making that recommendation came from this forum. I simply presented the facts.
I don't know how this site would have affected my purchase decision, I searched this site out after I bought the truck. The when I started having problems, this site has been invaluable so far. Just wish the problems were behind me. I DO like the truck, just don't need the problems! Reliability is critical, even life and death, It is NOT an option.
Leland, the rationale is that FMC will have a chance to resolve issues with this motor. The problem was that there was not enough design verification before the 6.0 went into production. Now, us owners are responsible for finishing the T&E process at our expense and mental anguish. Hopefully FMC steps up to the plate and makes it right with all of us who have pulled extra duty on fullfilling the T&E process for them.
