Question

what should i do

im looking at a 1985 ford ranger. its got a 4 cyl with a 4 speed the only thing it looks like it needs is a box the old one is fixabul but i dont know if i should buy it or not

Depends on the mileage and the price. With 200,000 miles (expected for that year) the truck is worth about $500, or so says the Blue Book.

its only got 101,000 or soumthing like that and the guy is only asking 500

I'd say go for it if it runs pretty good.$500 ain't bad.If the 2.3L goes bad,you could always V8 one of those pretty easily
