Windstar B/U alert

Does anyone know of any codes or tests to determine problems w/back-up alarm system TIA!

A back up alarm is connected to the back up light wire, and is a seperate unit from the vehicle. If it's not working or working intermittently make sure the back up lights are coming on, then make sure there is a good ground at the box.
