Holley Electric Choke

I just received my new holley 600 cfm. carb, it has an electric choke can you tell me the correct way to wire it? It has (2) two terminals coming off the black choke housing.It is for a 1967 Mustang 289

Welcome to the site.

One wire is for ground and the other goes to the "S" terminal of back of the alternator.

Is the "S" terminal the hot post on the alternator? I have one, too but I have it hooked up to the Accessory wire from the ignition.

I have a 750 holley on my 390...blk to ground and red to a 12 volt source....when the ignition is on!! Good luck!! Russ!!

The "S" terminal is one of the smaller terminals on the back of the alternator.

Yes, wire it into the stator wire. This way it only has voltage when the engine is running.
