I just noticed a problem with my 94 Ford Bronco. When I come to a complete stop in the vehicle. I accelerate slowy, while the engine speed is coming up, there is no wheel movement, then there is a clunk (no noise, but like shifting from neutral to drive at 900 rpm's.) quickly followed to power to the wheels. However, this does not happen when I smash the hell out the accelerator. And I have no other problems with the tranny.
Can't find info on this problem, and all the transmission shops say I need a new tranny. I was also told that the tranny in my Bronco is the same as a the tranny's in the 1 ton pickups? Is this true?
Appreciate the abundant info you guys put up.
