I have a '97 F250 HD 4x4 that I'm changing the front brake rotor on. Anyone know what the torque should be for the hub nut? Also, any "gotchas" with changing the rotor?
inner nut you tighten it while spinning the rotor. stop when you feel a light drag. line up the washer, put the outer nut on and crank it down a bunch.

No offense, but I don't think this is the answer. I could be wrong but I believe there is a torque procedure involving tightening, backing the nut off and then re-tightening to a specified torque whicj will eliminate any end play. I'm sure that a more experienced member on the board may be able to comment further.
