BIG engines.

Hey guys,

Look at this site

This is the biggest two-stroke diesel marine engine I could find. I'll highlight the specs for you

Bore: 3.54 feet
Stroke: 8.73 feet
RPM: 94
Horsepower: 132,300
Calculated Torque: 7,389,096 ft-lbs
Mass: 3258 Tons

Oh yeah, and that would make it a 9747.2 Liter engine.

oh heck that will fit in my truck, "if" i extended the cab to about 20 feet and put 100,000 pound overload springs on it, and raise the truck to about 10 feet to see over the engine.

Heh.those 100,000 springs would snap like twigs with that mass...3300ton overload springs would work though...LOL

I remember there was a thread in the V-10 forum about a Japanese V-10 engine. This thing was HUGE, it was about the size of a two story house!! Anyone remember, or know, what I'm talking about??

Yeah Lucas that is a superb site. The kind of power that comes out of those engines is just phenomenal...it would be so cool to build, design, or just work on those things!
