I have an 87 f250 460 and to start it I pump the gas once and she fires right up. Then when I go to restart it, the engines turns over but doesn't start. I put in new plugs and a new coil. It seems to be fine then it starts acting up. The distributor is the original 300k miles. Could this be the problem. New idiot box too.
does it only act up when it warms up.? If it does it could be the idiot box, I've heard of people getting a bad box.I'd get it checked anyway,good luck
