What is towing capacvity of the 2001 F250 PS Diesel

Most are around 12000 lbs, depending on how it's equipped. Dually, gears, crew cab, etc. Can go as high as 13,700 if equipped correctly.

I haul a 12,800 lb fifth wheel trv trlr with mine, no problems at all. PSD, 3:73, 4R100, HyperTech PPIII, 13-13.5 towing mpg, 20 mpg rest of the time.

Do you have any other mods - what is the HP rating with the PPIII?

Dutchman,
I have a Power programmer III for the 01 that I'd like to sell if you're interested. Sold the 01 but took the goodies off before I let it go. Wakes it up quite a bit.

It works great out of the box. It would be a good idea to install gauges though especially if you tow a lot. Aftermarket exhaust will help out a lot more too but you could wait a while if you wanted too. I'd like to get $225.00 for it, I paid $319.00 for it new.
