Next time you go to Taco Bell say "Yo neccessito dos burritos y dos pepsi colas grande" and see what they say. I tried it once. I'm never going back to Taco Bell.
We call it spanglish around here.. adding the g really makes it more ovbious ... Some say Texmex also becuz no one around here speaks true spanish, it's mostly mexican spanish which is supposed to be true spanish combined with the Native American languages of the people that lived in the Mexico before it was Mexico. Many Mexico hispanics don't understand spanglish or texmex when they come across the boarder around this area. I understand more than I speak.
What happens when you go to Taco Bell and speak spanish to them??
Man, if I could only remember all those cool spanish cuss words.. If I'd of only made it to spanish class in stead of skipping out. What a shame..... Did I mention, that its really hard to get gas in south Florida if you don't speak a little bit of spanish. Its a bitch when you get lost....
Coming from a Spanish speaking family. I always thought that Spanglish was when while having a Spanish conversation, a couple of English words are snuck in, ie: OK, you know, ya....
I could be wrong.
