Red face need info bad

79 351m, holley4160 600cfm carb, engine bored 30 over, rv cam, edelbrock intake, every thing else is stock.7000 miles on complete rebuild. c6 transmition. i have a vaccum line dilema, the vaccum for the brake booster cames off the intake, were does the vaccum for the transmition come from, and were is the port on the carb for the ignition advance, and can you plug the pcv hose and the other crank case vent into the carb, if not were besides the breather.

the trans should be connected to direct manifold vacuum, near the center under the carb. same with the brakes. for your distributor advance you might have a couple of choices, there is a vac port in the front drivers side base plate, or there might be one on the pass side front metering plate? the base plate port is "throttle" vacuum, and the one on the metering plate is "timed" vacuum. late model emission applications use the timed port. the PCV should go to a different manifold connection than the brake and trans, or to the big base plate connection on the carb if it's not too close to the brake connection. the other valve cover will get the breather or air cleaner hose. the breather filters the air going in through the breather, through the engine and into the manifold through the PCV. none of this is writen in stone except for the trans vac, just use your judgement for keeping the PCV and the brake separated a little.
