Panic alarm
I have a 94 F-150 Extended Cab 4x4 5.8L Eddie Bauer. For the past couple years, if I hit the panic button on the remote on accident, it took a few times pushing the button to turn it back off. Now twice in the past couple weeks the alarm has gone off when I was not touching the botton, and it won't turn off. The button does nothing, and I can't start the truck. The first time it shut off on it's own after about 1 minute. Tonight, it would not stop. I finally decided I was going to have pull the horn or battery cable after 5 minutes or better. I went in to get a flashlight and and then it finally stopped, again all on it's own.
Anyone know what kind of gremlins are living in my truck?
