Question cab rust

whats the best way to repair the rust thru on my 65 f100 just above the doors on the cab.
it seems to be dual walled sheetmetal and it has not gone completely thru to the interior yet . mayby im wrong
but it has rusted through .
i wanted to purchase a patch panel and weld it in, but have been unsucessful in finding one.
are they available? or do i have to just cut it out and fab my own patch?has any one done this?

Steve,

Im in the exact same predictament with my '64 f100.
Its not rusted through, but it needs to major work fast!!
I wish the guy who thought up those drip channels didnt show up for work that day!!!

Im not sure how to help you out, other than what youve stated already.

Ive done some body work, but nothing that is going to take special attention...like the rusted parts above the cab will!~!
