Recently a deputy stopped a car in a nearby town. The passenger was drinking a beer. The driver was the mayor of the town and the passenger was a female city council member. The deputy said to the mayor "sit on the curb dude".
The mayor got all upset because he was called dude. They ended up with a ticket for an open container. The next day the mayor went to see the county sheriff and demanded that he fire the deputy. Of course that went nowhere. This town is a crack up. The last police chief got fired for using city funds to buy his son a car. It is one thing after another.
