heater core
Ok I have done research on the forums about this with no luck at all I have 1990 bronco 302 I had the face plate off to expose the heater core and only Half of the core was hot. right side was hot and the left side of the core was cold. Does it need replaced because its not so hot inside the bronco anymore and its cold here in Iowa.

It sounds like your heater core is plugged, either in the heater core or in the hose - could also be an airlock too. I would check for the airlock & see if you can flush the heater core - remove both hoses to the heater core from the engine, and try running water through. It's actually pretty easy to change the heater core if you have to - just did mine yesterday actually. The hardest part was removing the old baked on heater hose.
