creaking driver's door window
My driver's door window is creaking like crazy and it's making me crazy! I tried spraying the window track and door weather strips with silicone spray but it didn't help. If I press hard against the glass or put the window down a bit it stops. Any ideas?

Can you tell if the creaking is coming from the top or bottom of the door? if its the glass edge rubbing on something you can test this by puttin a thin strip of cloth all around where the door glass touches the window frame. If the creaking goes away thats it. If its lower, the tracks may be loose or something rubbing inside.

I think I got it fixed! I took the door panel off and removed the inner weather strip along the bottom(top of the door panel) I liberally coated the strip with silicon spray. The felt strip, the insides(where it clamps over the door) and the top where the door panel rides on it. So far, so good! No more creaking.
