well, not sure of all the symptoms, but i can give you my symptoms, which i am told are "classic symptoms". I have a rough idle, not the truck is running rough, but kind of shakes at idle. If i rev it to 1000 rpms, it gets worse, but anything above 1000, like 1100 or more, it goes away.
Come on guys there has to be many more that have had this failure!!! How long from the initial symtoms to complete failure??
what happens at complete failure??? I'm sure there are more members that have used the Valo kit!!!
share, share share.

Mike, thanks for the reply, I don't have much of a issue at idle, however in 1st or 2nd "Ihave a manuel tranny" and that's where I get a bad shake in the front end. Did you get your's fixed right away??

No. I put up with the noise and drove it for about 10k more miles. Then it finally started driving me nuts. First and second were hard to get into. So I ordered my new clutch. Took me about 3 hours to do the whole job myself. Also, I put a new rear main seal in at the same time, mine had a small leak. It was worth it, since I was already right there with the flywheel off. And because I am ****, I did all three u-joints and the carrier bearing while I was there too. Now I have an all new driveline. Kinda.
I pull a 48' Featherlite enclosed trailer with my race truck in it all over the place. I have notice no performance gains or losses with the new clutch.
Just had my Dual mass go out on my truck. No warning signs. Was pulling a trailer up a pass and the flywheel just started slipping. No springs broke. Went back in with a 13" Valeo solid flywheel and clutch set. The stock was only 12" Was half the cost of a new dual mass and alot better in my opinion.
