did ford (or lincoln/mercury for that matter) ever put
a '400' emblem on vehicles equipped with the 400 engine? if so, what year/model vehicle was it found on? maybe a bronco?
i know it's silly, but i'd like a '400' emblem for my E350. "Mine's an E400!" :-)
of course, i could get a 400 emblem from some other make, but i'd prefer a real ford logo...
not unless it still said chevy 400 on it. otherwish i say alls fair. and 400 is a 400.
i don't think there was a 400 emblem from ford, but there is a site i know of with a guy that makes factory look alikes with custom numbers and letters. so he could make one say E400 for you. i llok for it.
yea, still haven't found it but a buddy know what it is and i will talk to him tues. he got a custom "F-150 Fire Interceptor" emblem that looks just like the crown vic's "Police Interceptor" it's cool looking and well done. i'll let you know on tues.
Check out California Pickup Truck.
They have a lot of emblems, and they might be able to make one, if there is sufficient demand. http://www.calpickuptruck.com
I finally got around to modifying the '400' emblems I got on Ebay and put them on my van. They were originally mounted low on the rocker panels of some 60's camaro or firebird, so they were kinda bevelled. I did a little dremelling to make them lay flat and also removed the mounting tabs so i could just tape them on. See a photo in my gallery... https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=62129&width=2
