PAC OEM-2 for Receiver

I ordered a receiver from crutchfield, and they sent me this PAC OEM-2 adapter thing, and I am not exactly sure where to install it. I setup the receiver directly to the harnesses they sent me, and it works IF turn off then on again, the rear speakers on that panel in the mid row.

I was browsing the other posts, and wasn't sure if I had a premium sound system or not, I know there is no EQ, but there is this little control panel where you can plug head phones, seek, memory, etc. And For some reason this is messing with my speakers.

I really do not want to have to rewire the entire van, but is there a way to bypass that thing? Or will I need to rewire it, Circuit city said they would charge $70 to do it...

I have a '94 Aerostar, XL 3.0

Thanks,
Mark

If the adapter they sent you is a plug then I assume it bypasses the rear panel so you would have to remove the panel (3 x screws) and undo the plugs and fit the adapter
Im no expert but I think thats where it would go
don't suppose you could send me a picture of the adapte as im trying to sort out my stereo and theres not much in the way of help for this sort of thing in the UK as no is familiar with the Aerostars
