Your hubs are for the auto hubs and transfer case otion (SOTF-shift on the fly).
Keep them in auto unless...you are stuck and will not be able to roll a few feet until the auto ones fully engage OR if you want to lube the inner axle workings. Of course the latter can be done by switching the switch every now and then on SOFT roads. (ie. not th einterstate..but a gravel road or something) Some will keep them locked (manually) during a long stretch of poor weather so as to not have to depend on the vacuum actuation.
Thank's for the info...:7 The caps I like to use on my front wheels are closed not allowing me access to the hubs. Would it damage anything if I leave them in lock vs auto?
