Just filled up my first time and checked mileage with calculator. A mixed type of driving some highway mostly driving around town and back and forth to work. I got 16.5 MPG- SO far I couldnt be happier with the truck. After 6 months of not being able to make up my mind about trading I am glad I waited but real glad I didnt decide not to trade at all.
sweet rig i wished i would have got the sport pak too.. But i did get a moonroof...~ More guys need to post pics of there rigs!!! Fun to see the mods and tweaks.
Thanks guys. I ordered my triple gauge pod for it tonight. The gauges will be in soon. I agree with the positive posts. I know there are a bunch of these trucks out there with no problems they just arent telling it to anyone. I spent 20 years working in Ford dealerships and while Ford has made there share of mistakes. No other manufacturer will stand behind there vehicles like Ford will. I will never own anything else. I strayed a couple times and regretted it. After all they havent been the best selling truck for almost 30 years by sticking it to the buyers. And if you have ever had that great GM feeling you know what I am talking about. GM
I took delivery of my F250 shortbed supercab Lariat 6.0L PSD on Dec. 30th. Took a trip to Laughlin, NV (from Orange County, CA) on the 2nd. 600+ miles of 70-80 mph driving across the desert plus about 100 miles of city stop and go stuff, using fuel reciepts and odo readings, I averaged 17.1 MPG.
I fretted and worried about whether I should buy this truck. Shouldn't have. This is a great truck, and I keep saying so. My wife says that she intends on buying me this tee shirt she found somewhere that says: "A Man and His Truck. It's a Beautiful Thing."
Good lookin rig odds on. My 95 was white with tan. Let me know where you find that t-shirt I need one of them. My wife always tells me I love my Mustangs and truck more than her. Imagine That! LOL
