Cant decide on a tread

I am getting new tires this weekend and cannot decide between the BFG all terrains or the BFG mud terrains. I am a construction supervisor for new homes so alot of my day is on a job site mostly without the blacktop down yet, not coming till spring. and just for fun i spent some time in the dirt moving gasbottles lumber and such. the truck is driven daily and I am not worried about tread noise just good all around proformance. any help appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

I'd say a/t, they've never let me down in any situation, and they're a good strong tire.

well, i have had the BFG AT's, and they are a very good tire. but, i just had a new set of BFG MT KM's 285/75/16 installed on my truck. they are amazing, i am overly pleased with their performance on the road. this was a main concern for me and i was not let down one bit. not much louder then the AT's at all! an incredibly very very soft vibration at low speeds, but thats just becouse of the big lugs, after that its smoother then glass. they ride even better then the OEM General Ameritrac AT 235/85. they fit perfect and look great on the OEM delux aluminum rims. they are pricey but very worth it. as of now, i highly recomend them, they are mud and snow rated. if you go with the larger size, you will definately feel the added weight on the wheels, but hey, they look real sweet and ride better then what you would think. no complaints here, if thats what your looking into, go for them, just make sure they are rotated at least every other oil change, they recomend 5,000 miles.

I'm definitly leaning toward the M/T Merchants tire has them for 114.99 (31x10.50x15) before mounting, balancing, and such but i,ve got a buddy that will do that cheap or free.
