Any ideas?
Hey guys, i'm really knew to upgrading parts on an engine and all that junk, but if anyone who reads this could tell me some upgrades i could get for my 2001 f-150 sport, single cab, like ones that would make it much faster or anything like that. Or, if you could give me some advice as to how i can learn more on automobiles, it would be much obliged. cheers! Paul

Try a K&N or similar air filter.($50) That should give you around a 10 hp boost. They're easy to put in and reusable. Next you can try a Cat back exhaust system with an assortment of different mufflers (Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Gibson, Bassani etc.....) That's good for another 10 to 15 hp and costs around 3 to $400. Then if you need more power you can try a power programer for up to 30 more hp ($350) I have'nt tried the programer yet but the air filter and the exhaust gave my truck a noticable increase in power. Plus it sounds cool too.
