Shorty Headers on '93 302 Bronc
Yo:
I recently redid my '93 302 with some goodies (rebuild, mild cam, blaster coil, K&N) and want to finish off with a decent exhaust.
What kind of shorty headers are the best & which gaskets should I use? I don't want to be retorking the suckers every month.
Also, I wanted to run the headers to an H pipe with a high flow cat on each side with true duals and glass packs. (Stock is manifolds to a y then into 2 cats and out) I don't want so loud, I can't hear my CCR tapes. I just want a (legal) mellow bellow.

I have Ford motorsport shorty headers on my truck and they are very nice. They're made of stainless steel and the price was right at 280 bucks. They make a good power and sound increase too.
For the header gaskets get some solid copper ones and use rtv ultra cooper sealer around the exhaust ports on both sides of the gaskets then top it off with some stage 8 locking header bolts and you'll be set
