Replacing Grille. HELP!!!
I just bought a Ford Factory Chrome Harley Grille to replace my stock (cross bars) grill on my '00 F-150 XLT. I beleive it can fit right into the slots with the tabs on the Harley Grille, but I would need to remove the current grille. Has anyone done this? Do I have to cut off the current grille or will it come right out? Also, how do I get to the grille? What needs to be removed to get to it(plastic radiator cover, headlights???)? Any help, please!!! Yes, I am only replacing the center grille portion. I guess it is just like installing an after market billet grille, only I decided to go with the factory ford HD part. I will retail the stock chrome "facia" that goes around the grille and headlights. Thanks for the response.

I believe you have to take off the facia first in order to get to the grille. Go to my profile down in my signature. In my photos you will find a folder labeled Grille. It will explain how to take off the front facia. After that, the grille should be able to be "unsnapped" from the facia. Hope this helps.
