Stull Billet Grill
Its thhe one that comes with the shell and the billet grill all together... I wanted to change out the (XL series) dark gray plastic grill on my dad's SD... Was the installation simple? And how was the quality of the product?

Yep, got it for Father's Day.
Mine was not the 1-piece paintable shell, but the "cutout" version. Took all of 20 mins to remove the shell and get the billet piece aligned and screwed on, then about 3 hours of frazzled nerves and flying plastic to get my shell cut out.
Now that I've done one and know exactly what to trim, I can say it was pretty simple. The installation instructions show you exactly where to cut to. I used my dremel with a cutting wheel to rough out the openings, then a grinding wheel to get close to the finsihed edge. Once I had it close, I used a fine 1/2 round file to get it just right. Just go slow and be VERY careful you don't slip with any tools. You dont' want to scratch anything up.
I had to test fit the cut shell about 6 or 7 times to get it right where I wanted it, but once it was fitted properly, it went back on very easily.
Most shops that sell these things will install 'em if you've got any reservations about doing it yourself. Hacking up a brand new truck is always a daunting experience. hehehe
Leaving his mark everywhere he goes....
