2002 shutter when at complete stop
I have a 2002 Escape. 1 day after having the tires rotated(may or may not have anything to do with problem) my wife noticed a vibration and noise when at a complete stop. Vibration stops when brakes are let off. It does not do it when in reverse. And sometimes are worse than others. Is this a brake problem or a transmission problem? Any info wouls help.

We need help too. We have a 2001, and two weeks after a simple tune up and replacement of shocks/struts it is shuddering while idling and anything below 40 mph. It was quiet at first, but eventually got way worse no matter if we were braking or driving. Having trouble getting the automatic engine to shift right too. They said it was valves in the engine that will cost us over $1000, but we are stuck in Italy with bad mechanics and no Ford dealership to help. If you find anything out please let us know.
