351 Engine Differences

Hey group.

How do I tell if I have a 351W/M/C?

What year is it? Consitering this is in the 87-96 fourm, I would say you have a 351W.

If you have a big block bell housing then you have a 351M/400. If you have a small block bell housing then you should have a 302 or 351W.
I have forgoteen the measurement between the top two bell housing bolts. I think the SB is like 6 inches and the BB 8 inches but don't hold me to that.

I could measure them when I get home.

you've got a 351W Your engine build tag should read Windsor

In my opinion it is a good thing. I have 335K miles on my 94 F-150 ext cab. I did a rebuild at 245K still running strong and getting 17 mpg on hwy. It has been retired to the farm for farm use but just minor body rust is all.
