Michele, Sounds pretty strange to me. Diesel fuel is unlike gasoline in that it is not as volatile. It won't burn unless really highly compressed and heated. I would have to hear a lot more detail on that one. It is the first I heard of burning up to a total loss.

would your daughter come start my truck. This happened to my 99 350 CC 4x4 7.3, Ford said a voltage drop between the alt and battery didn't occur.
Burned to the ground; ins. settled with me Ford paid off ins. This happened on a frigid Dec day. hope nothing of importance burned glad your daughter is ok.
