I just got my new PSD and love it 04 F-350 Larait crew, auto, srw, 6.0l long bed. was wondering if can make sure that all the lastest flashes are good for it. Only tiny problem after 1250 miles is lack of fuel mileage. Have not checked but with computer in truck! only 10.7mph But live in Alaska and run all time in four-wheel drive! Here is the vin # 1FTSW31P84EA01331. Have not look at for the engine build date yet. Do like the site and hope to get more involved with messages
Just got mine about 2 weeks ago also live in Alaska - Anchorage - drive in 4wd all the time. I have around 700 miles on so far.
Driving around town the meter says around 10.5 mpg. On a drive to Kenai this weekend - on the sheet ice at about 40-55mph - the meter said 16.5 - 17.5. Reality, the meter on mine seems to be optimistic by about 1-1.5mpg.
I like the truck so far. No much different then my previous 2001 7.3 PSD. Fuel mileage wise, my 7.3 was getting better fuel mileage then the new 6.0 is. 7.3 used to get around 9.0-10 intown similar to the 6.0 but would get 17-19 on the highway driving at 65 in 4wd.
