Idle problems
I have an 03' PSD, I have the latest Dec. flash and still have a rough/rolling idle when stopping at a red light or stop sign. I have taken it to the dealer at least 5 times for the same problem since I purchased the truck. All they keep doing is telling me it is a PCM issue. I am begaining to get P????? off with this issue. I am tired of taking off work and doing without my truck. Has anyone else had this experiance with a 2/7/03 build truck. The engine was built in IND. Also I live in the south were it rarely gets in the high 20's. How much of an effect does the oil wieght have on the 6.0? I run motor-craft 15-40 PSD oil year around. I have 7,500 miles on the truck. I love the truck other than this problem.

Go to this thread, read completely…. and post. Follow, on page 3..MLF250’s format, it is good…and easy!
Important update to instructions on page 6, 17 posts down from the top of page.
ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
Tell as many as you can about this thread.
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate. Do not need many words. I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.
