I left the cat on and just did the muffler delete pipe on our 03 x 6.0L
while it sounds a little too loud for me around town when at large throttle openings... it is acceptable then....
in fact the 'turbo-jet' sound is neat....
but on long trips with the cruise set @ 85+ it gets to be really bothersome t hear the loud drone for hours at a time...
JMHO....
but I thought I'd try that first since I couldn't decide on which exhaust system to get...
Thank you for your reply, Does anyone know anything about MRBP, I know these guys from them starting out making 4 wheeler exhaust, just wondered if anyone has heard them on a truck yet. I know that they look good!
I have my exhaust removed on my 03 f-250 6.0 just unclamped the unit and pulled it off the truck. I want to put a stack on my truck now that I have heard the sound of the truck without all the muffler and tail pipe. I put a post in on anyone who had a stack on a 6.0 or anyone who had heard or seen one around. I like the sound of a stack on a 7.3 but I really like that sound of my turbo when I get in the throttle. I am just going to put a piece of flex from the factory pipe up to my stack. If anyone has any suggestions or other ideas let me know

Go to this thread, read completely…. and post. Follow, on page 3..MLF250’s format, it is good…and easy!
Important update to instructions on page 6, 17 posts down from the top of page.
ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
Tell as many as you can about this thread.
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate. Do not need many words. I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.
