>just doesn't taste right to me
i like it but it would be MUCH better if they put it in the fountain. i only drink beer and spring water, but every now and then ill have a coke out of the fountain. i dont like coke in cans or plastic bottles........coke just isnt coke unless its in a lightly green tinted glass bottle or out of a fountain. pepsi just tastes like pure sugar(i know, all sodas are 80% sugar. thats why i dont drink them very often) and "the dew" is just a legal form of crack cocaine!

Coke it is.........but I perfer that new Vanilla coke over coke.....that stuff is good after a hard day's work
but I usually try to get a gatoraid or drink some water.
Hey Boss, the best part is when those old machines get really old and you're the only one around who knows that you don't have to put that twenty-five cents in but only pull out that free soda. Quenched many thirsts after dirt bike riding that way.About the late responses, I found the site just last May when I was looking for parts for Trouble Bruin, my '79 4X4 Ranger. Some of the stuff is just too good to let die. Others are too bad to reincarnate. I love the site though and get a kick out of everyone here. By the way, did some people vote twice here, looks like Pepsi's catching up.
I'LL HAVE A PEPSI, PLEASE!! LAUGHING OUT LOUD.
Food for thought...Water or Coke/Diet Coke? > >
We all know that water is important but I've never seen it
written down like this before:
WATER
1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
(More likely this applies to half the world population)
2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it's often mistaken for hunger!
3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as
3%.
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for
almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U-Washington study.
5. The #1 trigger of daytime fatigue is a lack of water.
6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day
could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of
sufferers.
7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term
memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the
computer screen or on a printed page.
8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of
colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer
by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two
gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway
after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet
bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean.
The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper
with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped
in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can
of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-
Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load
of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle.
The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.
It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
For Your Info
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric
acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor
to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the
commercial truck must use the Hazardous Material placards
reserved for Highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean the
engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or coke?

I've got to vote for the new 'nilla Coke. It really hits the nostalgia button. Those of you old enough to remember REAL soda fountains in drug stores will know. We had cherry, lime, lemon, chocolate, and vanilla cokes anytime. Usually the counter person (soda jerk) would add as much or little flavor as you wanted.
Besides, I can't stomach anything Michael Jackson or that twit Britney Spears hypes in their commercials.
KEEP THE SHINEY SIDE UP AND THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN!
