frozen

The water pump and probably the block too are frozen, any home remedies for thawing things out would be most appreciated, we have no garage or shelter for the rigs and it appears this one Bronco 300 has been overlooked on the anti freeze.

frozen huh, as in there is water instead of anti freeze? well if so sit back wait for it to thaw and hope you didnt crack the block. #1 rule in cold temp you dont let the block freeze nothing good comes from it.

Hang a tarp over the hood and point a salamander under it?
We used to build a charcoal fire under the oil pans of big rigs to warm up the oil so we could start them

2 or 3 heat lamps aimed at the block?

How cold did it get?

i took a hair drier one time and thawed out just the water pump so it would spin. then i started the engine and let it run a few minutes and turned it off waited a short time and started it and let it run for a few minutes. i did this for about an hour and a half until it was thawed out and then i drained and filled with the correct amount of antifreeze and water. then i let it get warm and build up pressure and checked for leaks.

well thanks i took off the belts and the the truck run turned it off and started it then boiled some water pored it in it and let the truck run truned it off and poored anti freeze in it
