would someone please check engine build from vin

I found the truck I want at a dealer about 2 hours away. Went to look at it. Forgot to check engine build date. Could someone please check it from the VIN.

build date of 10/13/03, no way to access engine build date.

I would guess the engine has all the '04 updates.

, I just like to make sure I'm understanding what I'm reading . But, Ive seen posts of you advising people of what version injectors they have based on their VIN. How is it possible to determine specific information such as injector part number but not general information such as engine build date?
